Concrete Cutting and Sawing

Concrete cutting is making clean, controlled cuts through a slab, wall or path without damaging what is around it. Superior Cut cuts doorways and window openings into concrete walls, trenches into floors for plumbing and electrical, sections out of driveways for extensions, and slabs into liftable pieces for removal.

We cut to the depth the job needs and no further. Over cutting is the most common way a job goes wrong, because it weakens the slab that is staying and creates more repair work than the cut saved. Getting that right is judgement, not equipment.

Before we cut we check what is underneath. Water, gas, electrical and post tensioned cables all live in concrete and all cost far more to repair than the cut cost in the first place. The same care applies on curb and channel work for councils, and on expansion joints in fresh pours.

How thick can you cut?

Domestic slabs, driveways and paths are routine. Thicker commercial and industrial slabs, reinforced concrete and heavily meshed slabs are all normal work, we match the saw to the depth. Tell us roughly what you have and we will confirm before we quote.
